According to the European Commission’s report on Quality of Life in Europe, Braga is among the 10 best cities to live in.

According to the study, Braga stands out positively when it comes to the satisfaction of its inhabitants: 9 out of 10 inhabitants feel happy living in the city.

Some of the aspects considered to define the ranking include cleanliness, safety, employment, quality of life and public transport in cities.

Braga also stands out for the satisfaction of the elderly, families with children and immigrants living in the city.

The report was based on around 70,000 interviews and which analyzed 84 European cities.
